Queen City truck stop in Meridian Mississippi. Best plate lunch ever. Takes me back to the old mom and pop truckstops of yesteryear.

Rocky and Carlos veal parm with baked macaroni and red gravy on top along with their wop salad

Would be my last meal if I had to make that choice

Here in BR, it's got to be Chili's or Outback. Maybe Olive Garden.

For ultra fine dining at premium steakhouse prices, nothing can beat Superior Grill.

Murphy's in Hammond. Great meatballs and spaghetti, perfectly cooked steaks, poboys on Leidenheimer bread and great fried seafood. Phenomenal salad bar.
used to live in apartment complex behind Murphys when I was finishing up school at SELU a whiles back.

Would get the steak and shrimp with potato a lot. And i would add a side salad for $4 which meant I could fill up my own to go box with the salad bar. Was always 2 meals for like $25 after tip.

In Lafayette Poseidon's Greek Rest does have the best fried shrimp. Better than the local legendary Seafood house which will remain nameless cuz they can't even have fresh fish (pond raised catfish is not considered fresh seafood) unless u bring in your own to cook. Aristos buys fresh shrimp ...his fried shrimp leaves u with no choice but to eat tail and all..it's that good! And when I catch fresh tuna, wahoo and dorado ...Aristos will cook it up for my group and we celebrate the good life. We fixed Aristos heart so he's good for another 25-30 of da good life! Cheers Beaches!

Mariner’s sucks. No profanity needed. It just flat out sucks.

Best hometown restaurant isn’t my hometown but it still wins. South of the Border on 61

Weekday lunch in Slidell the Boss and I like to eat at South Side Cafe. The food is very good, and the Ruben sandwich is unique and spicy!

Loved the garlic bread they'd bring to the table. Could have eaten just a few baskets of that.

Came to post this as well. Never had a bad meal there. My favorite non-boiled dish is their shrimp creole. I love to order it to go and serve it on redfish on the half shell
