And Mikal checks the boxes

3PT shooting
Defense
Rebounding

+ much more.

Unfortunately, im not sure theres anything BKLYN would take for him.

Brooklyn will not give up Bridges.

We already have a wing on the roster that would be perfect in the starting lineup with Zion.

We just need to trade Ingram for depth players and picks.

Yeah agree with soggy.

You’ll probably end up trading BI for a young player who isn’t a super star and picks.

Maybe Ivey and picks from Detroit. Maybe a guy like Mathurin and picks. But that might be asking a lot. Teams are weird with young players they drafted

I mean I agree we should but I think our FO and Willie are too loyal to BI. And they’ll want more for him

Agreed, I want Claxton too.

But there's not a deal possible, not even with BI added that could get us in that discussion.

Work up a deal Bridges O’Neal (for defensive purposes) for BI not sure what would need to be added but it could work

This isn't 2K.

It can't work if the other team isn't willing to deal Bridges, unless you you want to add Trey plus draft picks, which you won't. So Brooklyn will say thanks but no thanks.

I think he's saying they're ideal wings for Zion.

They don't want to move Bridges, we know all know that.

Probably a boneless cajun style wing from Wingstop. It’s definitely a healthier, yet still tasty, option for people that need to manage their weight.

Yes, but if we could somehow land Bridges for Ingram and picks.
I would melt into a pleasant jelly.

I think Bridges is a bit overrated. Great defender, but an average scorer. He doesn't miss many games, so that is a positive. Not a max or franchise level player, which is how he's been elevated. He's a weak number 3 on a contender (like he was supposed to be with the Suns). I see him more as a high level role player. I don't see what we gain by adding him and bumping Jones or Muphy out of the primary rotation (if Ingram is no longer with the team in that scenario)..

Yeah, yall need to forget Bridges.

With nets I would do
Ingram and Kira
For
Dinwiddie, DFS and the 4 tradeable picks they have

His 27 games with Brooklyn last season, bssically the 1st 27 games he's ever been a feature player he averaged 26.1ppg and did so more efficiency than BI has been in any 27 game stretch of his career.

Wouldn't he just take BI's place?

A lineup of

Zion
Trey
Mikal
CJ
Herb

Gives you a lot that we dont have but also leaves the rebound question in tact (which would have to be an internal review of how we treat leak outs, desire/will to rebound).

Bench

Larry or JV (whoever is left)
+
4 Guards

Dyson/Hawk/Jose/Matt

Don’t know how many times it needs to be said, forget about Mikel, there’s no package that will get Brooklyn to trade him. They were offered a kings ransom for him last season (5+ picks) and they declined it.
