I think their last Callaway fitting must have really helped Matt. He’s been playing really well since then.

He said in this video that he has a brand new shaft in the driver and it really made a difference. Insane shot.

My favorite content was when it was just Grant and Garret.

What’s crazy is I don’t even think he’s a single digit handicap and he really doesn’t hit the ball that far.

This is just flat out wrong, they have done speed videos he absolutely can get to 180+ ball speed, I can't remember if he got above 190. Matt is probably a 7 or so right now. I just looked at their youtube major or whatever and they had him at an 8 4 mos ago. Looks like he shot an 85 on a pretty bad weather day at pebble beach

Yeah he got 190 ball speed in their video with dechambeau
LINK

Grant is putting out great stuff since leaving, Micah not so much. Grant is probably just below the bryan brothers as far as his game right now, he has gotten damn good

Agreed. Micah is unwatchable now. He’s completely oblivious to just how far he is from a tour level golfer all the while making content suggesting he’s working to be a tour level golfer.

Grant’s swing has gotten really solid lately and his content is good.

This was a year ago and it’s been pretty well documented that his back problems have hurt his distance and swing speed since then. And if he played to an 8 me saying I “don’t think” he’s a single digit handicap isn’t really “flat out wrong”.

Seems like I was pretty close to being correct…

Why did Grant leave Good Good? Can’t remember if it’s ever really been said. I enjoyed watching him the most. I thought he was the most consistent player and also he was the best hype man if you were on his team.

good good, Matt is probably the worst in the group, maybe 2nd worst, his best is probably better than Steve’s best but worst is probably worse if that makes sense. He also struggles with back problems.

Matt is a better golfer than Bubbie 6 out of 7 days a week

As an added member, he didn’t have the same ownership stake as other members. He had an opportunity to build his own brand and cut his own brand/apparel deals.

Also, he was getting married and wanted to move back to Florida.

This does annoy be about Micah. You watch his game against the Bryan Bros and the gap is so clear. Even his driving which is his real strength isn’t on their level.

For sure. I mean even he knows when he goes up against Wesley he’s almost always going to get crushed, Wesley is an entire tier if not 2 tiers above him and Wesley is barely able to qualify for a few tourneys a year on the PGA tour.

You would think that would clue him in to just how far away he is from tour caliber but it doesn’t seem too.

It also hurts that he has no personality, people watch YouTube golfers because of their personality and charisma, two things Micah has none of.

Micah was great in Good Good, because he was boring. We needed a boring normal guy to ease the antics of Matt, Steve, and Bubbie

But without the energy people, he is just plain boring

Grant has been playing insane lately. Shot a 63 and destroyed Peter Finch, then was up 4 shots on Wesley in their 1v1 before falling apart with a few holes left. Most recently in their major in Bermuda he was tied with Wesley after 18 and lost in the playoff.

If anything, Grant should be the one trying to go pro. Micah reminds of that “buddy” we all have whose best rounds always come when no one else is with them. Kinda guy who constantly tells you how good he is and then shows up and routinely gets worked. Pretty sure he and Grant discontinued their 1v1 match series because at one point is was like 8-2 in Grant’s favor

How old are you guys? How do y’all know so much about some ok YouTube golfers?

Reminds me of a bunch of chicks talking about the bachelor.

Maybe worse.

He did the same thing with Garrett a couple years ago. Garrett had like a 10 match lead with 2 months left in the year.

Because frankly network tV sucks. And over 60, so I’ve got spare time

Some of the YouTube golfers are entertaining. I’ve got some of the Good Good polos, most comfortable golf shirts I’ve ever had.

Like most of the rest, ran across them in a random YouTube pop up.

Well...one of the "ok" YouTube golfers just shot 63 in one vid and in another, took a PGA Tour winner who is at worst a scratch golfer to the final hole and lost by one. And in that group was the PGA winner's brother, who is playing in a PGA event this weekend.

I'd give anything to be that "ok"...lol.

Holy hyperbole Batman...lol. It's a golf board, we're all golfers and like ole boy said, network TV sucks. I probably watch 6 to 8 different golf channels on YT.

Grant
Micah
Good Good
Bryan Bros
Busta Jack
Bob Does Sports
Bryson Dechambeau
Paddy Harrington
Kyle Berkshire

It's entertainment in a sport that I love to play, albeit not very good.

Seems weird to judge people for what they like to watch.

I’m 32 and my options are watch love island with my wife or watch badass golfers play some of the world’s best courses. I tend to go with the latter
