For me it’s all about the wind. Cold with no wind is fine. But the wind being up makes it much worse.

I love the cold but not bone-chilling cold in LA this time of year

I find nothing about Louisiana cold weather as bone-chilling outside of something like the freeze we had a couple of years ago.

This weather is glorious. I’d rather it be 50 than 90 any day

Those who are missing the hell fire heat this past summer don't have to work outside in it.

I spend a lot of hours outside doing manual labor in it. I’d much rather deal with the heat than the cold and with horses than fire breathing dragons. I’m gonna get killed on one of these winter rides eventually.

It was 37 at my house and I had no frost.

You are not going to get frost if there is much of a breeze - not at 37 degrees. The temperature has to be 32 or lower, and a breeze prevents that if the ambient is higher.

Frost occurs at 37 degrees ambient when there is no breeze and there are no clouds. Heat radiates from surfaces to the dark sky, reducing the temperature near the radiating surface to below 32 degrees. Since there is no breeze, and air is such an excellent insulator, the temperature within 1/2” of your car surface might be 30 degrees, even though the temperature 6 inches away is 37 degrees. That’s how it happens.

Tell me you're an idiot without telling me. Grass been brown from our wonderful drought.

I'm a less bitch then the people who bitched every single day about 90 degree weather.

No one was bitching about 90 degrees baw, that’s a normal summer. South Louisiana had more 100 degree days and the least amount of rain in any of our lifetimes
