And we got a reprieve from hurricanes this year. From what I understand we are one moderate hurricane from hitting NOLA away from basically all being on Louisiana Citizens.

My FB ha ins went up 55% last December. This was AFTER i put a new roof on no cost to FB. If they go up another 15% guess Im shopping again. Unbelievable. Ha ins is 8 times more expensive than my policy 20 yrs ago.

I'm sure our insurance commissioner is hot on it.

No worries.

Not sure if y’all are paying attention, but costs of everything have gone up.
Insurance carriers are losing money.
Insurance carriers are not in the business of unprofitability.
They will raise rates accordingly.
Shop around or call a broker.

Enjoy your bad faith verdicts and keep believing billboard attorneys are helping you. Beyond insane LSU (and any college) partners with these people.

The real news here is "Farm Bureau is still writing in the state of Louisiana." People couldn't see good news if it slapped them in the face.

Don't even worry about it. We got Jeff Landry coming into office now. It's gonna be just fine. He's on it!

If you get a new roof or have had a new roof replaced in the last 5 years, FB is giving discounts. I know because I’m about to replace a lady’s roof and once we finish she’s getting a $1500 yearly discount

I guess I should be happy that
A) I still have one of the best possible insurers (not Farm Bureau)
B) it ONLY went up $2000
