TIME
quote:
Public support for aid to Ukraine has been in decline for months in the U.S., and Zelensky’s visit did nothing to revive it. Some 41% of Americans want Congress to provide more weapons to Kyiv, down from 65% in June
quote:
In some branches of the military, the shortage of personnel has become even more dire than the deficit in arms and ammunition. One of Zelensky’s close aides tells me that even if the U.S. and its allies come through with all the weapons they have pledged, “we don’t have the men to use them.”
quote:
Since the start of the invasion, Ukraine has refused to release official counts of dead and wounded. But according to U.S. and European estimates, the toll has long surpassed 100,000 on each side of the war. It has eroded the ranks of Ukraine’s armed forces so badly that draft offices have been forced to call up ever older personnel, raising the average age of a soldier in Ukraine to around 43 years. “They’re grown men now, and they aren’t that healthy to begin with,” says the close aide to Zelensky
He should be forced into recognizing he is not going to win this war, and our government needs to just stop. Force negotiations. Zalenski needs to clean up the mess and lick his wounds. Putin has shown restraint. Just move on.

He should have known that time was never on his side.

I thought Zelensky was winning big? Why does he need more money?

Bibi vs Hamas really ganked Zelensky’s thunder.

I like when third rate East European dictators lecture me as a fund raising pitch.

I’m not his ally. I never would have given him billions of our money to launder.

Screw him. We've already given him more than enough aid. It's time for him to take an L and go into exile.

They are also "drafting" females now. This entire proxy war has been a very bad mistake since the beginning. The reason Putin hasn't marched further into Ukraine is because he doesn't want it. If he did, it would be under Russia control.

The more this goes on, I'm team Putin on this.
Z is a grifter tPOS and hope he has a coup on his hands soon. Frick him.

Maybe if everyone puts the Ukrainian flag back in their social media avatars, the war can be won.

When's his wife's Parisian Christmas shopping spree for this year planned?

He should. He hooked up all of their kids with key business positions in Ukrainian shell companies in exchange and now they are semi ignoring his whines.

Why suddenly are they spelling his name with only one "y" at the end?

From Day 1, the odds of Ukraine winning was ZERO. No serious person thought different.

Force negotiations
How can you force Russia to negotiate? What leverage does anyone have?
quote:
Putin has shown restraint
Was that before or after he invaded another country?
And did he show restraint, or did his plans fail and he was restrained?
I would be happy if Ukraine gave up some land and Russia called it quits. Not sure that will suffice.
