Every kid is different. My son loves scary stuff, is obsessed with it, will grow up to be the next Rob Zombie or Stephen King. My similarly aged niece hates anything scary, even cartoon scary, she can't handle it.

Not for free. I looked for it this weekend when I had the nephews over.

Ask CAD for the Plex. Tell him I vouch for you as a good human.

I had zero clue what any of this meant until I was grown and just happened to catch the film on TV one day.

Incredible line.

I still say this from time to time to my wife when talking about milk, but she has no idea what I'm talking about.

Watched this at school in fourth grade. We didn’t finish it, so much of seeing the troll out in the open was missed.

The damage was done though, That troll literally became my boogeyman for a few years. Scared the shite out of me.

Watching it beyond grade school hard me laughing.

“How about a bumper sandwich, booger lips!”

most of the Jim Varney movies

I was in Tulsa when Varney got his big break. He was shooting commercials for Braum’s restaurants (kinda like a mid western DQ, ice cream and burgers).

Ernest P. Worrell was still a WIP when Varney died. Very good character actor really. The Ernest character was his creation not out of a Hollyweird Studio.

I streamed it on YouTube for free last year. I was living in east Nashville this time last year and the movie was filmed in east Nashville, so it is cool to see the familiar spots in the movie.

Circa 2002-226 or so, when I was in college (and just out) and my buddies and I would always sit on the front row of the student section at LSU basketball games. And every time the opposing team would shoot free throws we'd do a little chop motion with our hands and do the Indian chant from Ernest Goes to Camp. Good times.

I might be the only person that claims Go To Jail was as my favorite Ernest movie.

this was also filmed close to Nashville at Montgomery Bell State Park. Cool place to go hiking, kayaking, swimming, etc.
