Trying to think back, but JD would be the first LSU QB to beat Alabama twice in a long time. Geaux Tigers.

Jefferson technically beat them twice. Started game in 2010 and then 2011, Jarrett started, JJ came in at half and won game of century. Next one after that is whatever.

Jamarcus beat them 3 times in a row.

Jordan Jefferson did it. I believe Jamarcus did as well.

People forget, from 2000-2011, Bama only won like 3 games in this series

Somebody asked about SEC QBs in general who beat them twice. I realized later though that he didn't start in that first of two straight Ole Miss wins.

Technically Jordan Jefferson started in '10 and came off the bench to win the game in '11. But the last QB to start back-to-back wins vs Bama would be Jamarcus Russell. And he did it 3 straight times. Winning in '04, '05, & '06

He was answering the question posed “who is on list of SEC QBs to beat Bama twice”.

Ole Miss is the only team other than LSU to beat Bama in back to back years since Saban has been the coach.

I don’t think a single starting QB has beaten Alabama twice since Saban’s been there? Somebody show me I’m wrong. Jefferson beat him twice, but didnt start the 2011 game.

Which shouldn't matter because without Jefferson coming in LSU loses that game

Does Jefferson get credit for 2011 since Lee started?

It's Jefferson, though its important to note he didn't start the game in 2011. Instead replaced Lee at some point in the 2nd half after Lee threw his 2nd interception of the game.
