At the same time, kids are going to be kids and if I got charged a $50.00 fee I’d simply pay for just the food and tell them to frick themselves on the extra fee.

You seem like a winner. Braxxtohn and Brayleigh are being assholes and annoying everyone because they have shitty parents, and the response is to steal from the restaurant because your a-hole kids are special.

Remember, they will put you in jail if they catch you smuggling cigarettes to your kid at the jail.

This is exactly why parents give their kids a tablet, so they will behave and not run around the restaurant and scream and yell at the table.

I don't see a problem with letting kids amuse themselves with a tablet, but the volume needs to be kept way down (or use headphones). Nobody wants to enjoy their meal listening to "Baby Shark" played at ear splitting levels. The same goes for playing your music loud in public, keep that shite down.

The fact that someone out there called this “discriminatory” tells you all you need to know about society today.

Yes, I had to go when some cocksucker wearing an "I love Cocks" shirt let his heathen little bastard act up in the restaurant.

I punted both their worthless asses in the mouth.

sounds just like an excuse a bad millennial parent would make.

I would add Gen X parents but at this point their kids are >20 for the most part...

Jeez man. Just order your groceries online if it ruins your mood that much.

Maybe we should pass a bounty law.

Record your little bastard acting like a heathen. Pop both of you. Call the Heathen Little Bastard and Parent Body Removal Agency. Show them the video and get a $100 bounty for each.

This won't last. Once a family of a victim demographic is charged, there will be a public outcry and they will have to change their rules. We all know how this goes.

I understand that. If the kid is acting up one of the parents needs to take it outside as to not disturb everyone else around them. If the kid is not capable of behaving in a restaurant then you either get a sitter or get the food to go.

The owner isn’t banning kids—only making parents accountable for making their kids behave. If your kids want to run around the restaurant screaming, then you as a parent need to take the kids outside to the car. Growing up, I remember throwing a fit in a restaurant once and I still remember my dad escorting me into the bathroom and giving me a well deserved spanking. Parenting isn’t rocket science.

I would like to know what this restaurant owner considers bad parenting.

Is it a crying infant who soiled it’s diaper, and the parents are dealing with chaos from it? Is it kids who watch IPAD at the table so the parents can eat? Is it a child wining that they can’t get dessert? Is it a kid who is excited about a topic and talks loud to get their point across? Is it brother/sister bickering?

I don’t consider that bad parenting, but it requires an action from the parent to help with the situation. Maybe they are not taking action hence the fee.

It said on an earlier post that one family was charged because the kids watched IPAD quietly and then took a walk to go see something with their parent. That is ridiculous.

And no matter what the restaurant owners view is on bad parenting, the only thing that matters is if you piss off a customer or serve shitty food/provide horrible service, then 10 of their friends boycott you. That battle is not worth it to me if I was in that business. You have to be on your A game every day, and its reputation is tough to maintain.

Been here a bunch and with kids. People use the restaurant as a babysitter, they needed this. Unattended little kids get right up on the water too.

I've seen kids running around screaming in a restaurant less than a handful of times in my almost 40 years. I wouldn't let me kids act like that in public personally, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend kids always behave when they are supposed to. That's not relaity.

“If you have children, absolutely avoid this place at all costs. Holy moly - the most disrespectful owner made a huge scene in front of the entire restaurant because our children were “running through the restaurant” - they were down by the river.. we were told we need to “go to Burger King and Walmart” and that we were bad parents. They have a $50 surcharge for “bad children.”
