I was thinking the same, but he was also in fuel supply it sounds like? So Idk.
Originally I was assuming this was a PTSD type of issue, but doesn't sound like it from the military.

Watching the search helicopter on flightradar. They’re on their 6th area of circling to the west of the river that runs thru Lewiston. Looks like they may be landing at Auburn Lewiston airport. Probably to refuel.

It’s now circling the restaurant where the shooting occurred. Which seems odd unless the rumors they found him dead are true. But I don’t want to speculate until it’s confirmed.

That first Bell I mentioned is now back up. Will watch to see what it does. It initially came from Danvers, Massachusetts. There’s another Bell south of Lewiston that just came on radar, it’s heading in the direction of the plane.

You can deploy to lots of places and it not be a CZ. It's pretty common even during GWOT.
