Anyone ever used the RedStick311 app for city services?

I notified them of a storm water drain grate with half of the grate missing near the end of my driveway.
They said it’s an AT&T issue. How is a storm drain an AT&T issue?

You mean get ignored for months, start posting the same thing everyday and instead of them fixing it they tell you to stop reporting it. Yes I have experience with it.

I reported a light not working correctly over by the mall. I drive to it every day.
They closed my request and said for the reason, “that light is operated by Harper Construction” or something similar.

I asked for ditches and culvert to be cleaned back in 2015. Still waiting and still open.
I am sure they will get right on it.

Yes. Zero action other than pawning it off on some other worthless entity. Yet another mark in the “cons” of the “pros vs cons” list of living here/leaving here. May 2025 and we are back to Texas. It truthfully cannot come soon enough. Im the meantime, we are trying to enjoy what we can and not get shot/carjacked.

That’s line 3 of the script.

I’ve used it a few times. I used it for a city sewer line back up. Put it in at 5pm and someone knocked on my door at 8pm to let me know they were inspecting. They fixed it the next morning.
I also have a ticket open since 2019. The city has been out here 4 times and still hasn’t done anything. I try to get an update through the site and I just get back “in progress.”

If you are talking about a street light, try Entergy. Most street lights are the responsibility of Entergy. If it's a traffic signal, depending on what mall, it may be DOTD's responsibility.

Yea, don’t bother those city workers. They don’t have time to help people by doing it for you.

They do report all street light outage calls once a month to Entergy.

Our local government only exists to take from the citizens. So may workers getting fat salaries and retirement for doing an awful job.

I’ve used it several times for trees in roadway, missed garbage pickup, and have had pretty good success with it.

I’ve used it 3 different times for damaged garbage cans
They were all replaced within a week
