Is Daniels the no doubt Heisman frontrunner if Hilton catches the lass pass at Ole Miss?

He would have his "Heisman moment" and one less loss all in one fell swoop.

Or if we went for it on 4th and 5 our previous drive to end the game instead of punting it

Who knows if that would have changed the mindset for the last few weeks. It's history and it doesn't change that he needs to play well at Bama.

Or if he didn't fumble in the first half?

That’s a big IF, but sure.

IF he has a good game in Tuscaloosa & winds up in the SECCG, he still has a good shot though.

Penix had a bad game & their schedule gets tougher.

P.S. Hilton didn’t drop it

While Taylor was standing off to the side not blocking?

Hilton dropped multiple passes that night. The ball hit him in the hands

Hilton played ok, but BK said that Hinton had a bad game and got hurt.

interesting. I post a screenshot of the Ole Miss player hitting his hand before the ball gets there, but you still think it hit him in the hands?

Or, how about not blaming Daniels or Hilton (who was interfered with) and blame a historically bad defensive coordinator that set records in that game for incompetence. If you are LSU and you score 49 points, you should win that game every single time.

It was obvious PI

Honestly the Heisman is nothing more than a team award these days for teams still in contention

If he has a good game and beats Bama he at least gets an invite
If they lose to Bama, he likely won't even get an invite

The showcase game will be Michigan Ohio St and look for McCarthy and Harrison to go head to head and I think that will determine your winner

Penix still a strong contender but needs to keep winning games despite a bad outing last week and their schedule is tough towards the end

Bowers I think was firmly in the mix but the injury takes him out

Hitting the WR a tenth of a second before the ball gets there while trying to make a play on the ball is FAR from an obvious PI call.

Ref will not make that call 10/10 times in that situation

To try to blame that loss on one single play is dumb!

I don't think it matters much at this point. He is in the top 3 as it is (some listing him as the favorite right now). If LSU beats Bama, he'll likely be the favorite.

if you’re blaming anyone on the offense at all that game you need help. 49 points on the road should get you a win 10/10 times.
