Thread title is self explanatory imo.
I'm looking forward to of course seeing Z out there with B.I.
I'm looking for more plays with them in pnr/off ball screens and actions. A B.I. Zion pnr should be lethal af.

Z, BI, CJ on the court together
Jose/ Nance looking recovered and healthy
Dyson/ Hawkins looking competent on the court for both offensive/ defensive possessions

I'm very interested in what liddell will become for this team.
Dyson is going to surprise a lot of people. Hawkins is going to take some time imo.
Jose is the team leader. Can't wait to see him back. You could tell the team missed him last year.
He sets the tone and gets everyone to play together. Also he gets the team to play harder.

I want to see if the 2 Preseason games that were absolutely abysmal were just preseason bullshite with players not caring, and if they can turn it on game 1.

Absolutely this. Not a coincidence once he got injured last year and were without him we fell off a cliff.

Why? We were a good defense last year, also the Grizzlies are down ja and don't have the scorers they had last year.

I'll be looking at the offense. Does is it still stagnate? Are guys still standing around and watching one guy dribble? Are we shooting 3s at a league average rate?

One encouraging thing.
We shot WAY WAY more corner 3s this preseason than we did last preseason or all of last year on average.
Its the best analytical jumpshot there is and we weren't taking any previously, essentially

I saw some sloppy fricking basketball the vast majority of the preseason.
We’re gonna be missing Jose and Murphy- prob 2 of our best defenders off the bench.
Im just not feeling confident in our defense keeping up with a run and gun Memphis team. They play very well without Ja. Almost better at times.

Simple winning and Zion playing like a MVP. Basically, Zion just picking up where he left off from last December. Everything else is just gravy.

This is not the same memphis team. I’m not sure they have that depth this year even without Ja due to injuries, trades to be as dominant. If anything without Ja, they really don’t have offense. I like Bane, but if hes your primary scoring option - you’re in trouble.

They're going to be a very very bad rebounding team without adams and Clarke. This is a game that JV should feast. JV needs to bang down low with JJJ and get him into foul trouble early. Should be a layup line after that for us.

Getting opposing bigs in foul trouble early should be our strategy most nights. We should attack the basket early in the 1st quarter of every game.
