Do you have a Blackstone or other griddle?

Breakfast, burgers, fajitas, fried rice is mostly what I see people using it for. Anything else?

Bottom line, would you recommend for someone that likes to cook at home? I have a BGE, Ooni, Weber gas grill and use all of them.

I have the griddle for the Weber, I love it. May not put the grates back on it and just use the rec teq to grill/smoke.

I've made some fried rice, smash burgers, chopped cheese.

I loved mine at first, but then got bored with it and gave it away. It does make wonderful hamburgers though

Blackstone here. Beef bulgogi from Costco is really good as well. Either eaten by itself or on a sandwich.

I bought a lodge cast iron griddle

I just throw it on my grill and use it like the blackstone. Was $30 and fits in a cabinet.

I have a stainless steel flatgrill for my Bullseye and it’s game changer as far as utilization

I have the 17" Blackstone that I use for breakfast and burgers with sautéed onions for the burgers. My wife likes to grill fresh veggies on it. I also have a Weber Silver, but the Blackstone gets more use. It is quicker to use and clean up.

I have a Grilla Primate. I bought it because I can change out the flat top griddle for grill grates. It's pretty good but I don't use the griddle as much as I thought I would

I wanted one, then PK put their stainless steel griddle plate on sale for the PK360 and I decided to gamble and save some money over something like a dedicated freestanding gas griddle. It works very well, and heats very evenly, the only downside is instead of taking 15 minutes before cooking I have got to wait 30 minutes. The upside is it’s stainless so I don’t have to worry about rust and once it cools off I just put it in my sink and wash it. I’m very happy with that purchase and I will not buy a dedicated gas griddle.

One of my favorite things to cook on it is smothered cabbage. I use mine about 2-3 times a month, more when the weather is cool.

I have a LeGriddle. It looks and cooks great. I bought from this distributor in Texas I think. The nice thing is this one has a solid SS griddle surface so it's easier to maintain than the Blackstone.

I have a 16x24 camp chef cast iron griddle I put on my Webber gas grill. I make smash burgers, breakfast, and sometimes sear steaks on it.

I really got it because I got tired of doing the smash burgers a few at a time.

Worst part is cleaning the damn thing because it doesn’t fit in my kitchen sink.

I have a 36" blackstone and use it more than my grill or smoker. I use it a bunch for smashburgers, quesadillas, pancakes, eggs and bacon, stir fry, cheese steaks, grilled cheese. It's got so many uses. I had a griddle that goes on top of my grill, but it was much smaller, and I couldn't do the volume of food that the Blackstone does.

36" Members Mark here....one of my favorite things to cook is different marinated meats/mixes I snag from the local Mexican grocery.

Philly sandwiches are fantastic (and easy) as are other sandwiches. One sandwich I really enjoy making on the griddle is the Yolko Ono, a breakfast sandwich I first tried from a food truck in Portland.

But you're right...the uses are limited. That said, when you want to make one of those meals the griddle makes things SO much easier. FWIW, the Member's Mark Griddle (Sam's Club) goes for around $250, though you can find it onsale for $200. Has the same size and BTU count as the Blackstone...well made and, unlike Blackstone, has the grease trap up front so you aren't having to move your hands over the hot grill to scrape stuff into the trap.

The problem with that particular model (unless they've changed the design) is that the underside of the griddle top isn't reinforced like the Blackstone and some others. It'll likely warp pretty badly.

Little Griddle Professional

Is this too big? I have one and it’s great. I put it on my grill if I don’t need the size of the 36” Blackstone.

Made In Cookware - Carbon Steel Griddle - (Like Cast Iron, but Better) - Professional Cookware - Made in Sweden - Induction Compatible LINK

It's a little pricy but it's a quality brand. Watch the little video. It's probably just what you're looking for.
