And none of the involved parties will ever find contentment or satisfaction in life. That's the choice they make and society should be glad to let them set themselves on fire.
Problem is when a significant portion of women begin to do that and become a massive burden on the social health of society.

I told her straight up.
"I don't mind paying for this ONE NICE THING". She's an engineer. She knows if she were a teacher, she wouldn't have gotten such a ring.
Set expectations.
Explain you are going to spend lots on stupid shite.
1 or 2 vacations, contingent on her working and earning a good salary.
A few extravagant things is ok.
If it's the norm, frick that bitch.

these studies arent limited to hookups. Young people in relationships are having sex too, even though hookups may be more likely in this demographic. And this thread is about finding a partner.

I have 2 teenage sons. shite is changing so fast, I really worry about them. When it comes to successful marriages, I'm not sure the numbers are working in their favor.

Absolutely. Sadly, there are good women out there with men who don’t even work. They’re supporting these bums, in most cases.
