a lot of young women have very unrealistic expectations.
they want an attractive guy in the late 20's young 30's who has a six figure ( and usually this means 200 or 300k minimum not 100k) salary, plus a tons of other high valued qualities. they dont realize thats less than 1% of men.
they setting themselves up to be future crazy cat ladies.

This place makes me appreciate my low-maintenance, low-budget wife more every day. I feel sorry for some of you baws.

If a guy is nice looking, kind, has a good heart and good values, and isn’t a tool then money shouldn’t matter. Love will triumph.
Find a woman with Christian values. I wanted a provider, yes. But I’m willing to cook, clean, raise the children, carpool all day and night, keep my figure and do all the flowerbed and yard work EXCEPT mow and weed eat;) I’ll admit, I’ve gotten lazy with laundry in my mid 40s, but we have 5 kids. The soooocksss!
i don’t NEED a status car and purse. I want/have a few nice quality leather handbags and a nice reliable car. My handbags are designer, but they are all under 350. I honestly prefer they don’t have logos/names all over them. There IS a Chloe’ mini I want - not a bag anyone would “know”. But at the moment a 1000 $ bag is not justifiable

Some of our happiest/most “romantic”years were during the early 2000s when we were living on a little over 20K a year with 2 babies in a tiny old rent house. We couldn’t even afford internet, but I was still able to stay home and raise the babies.
We still sometimes go to to Mass on campus because they have a late one, and there are a lot of cute girls there. So for you younger gents, check out your campus church - whatever denomination appeals to you. They have study/student centers etc. Try studying there. Strike up a conversation. It might sound lame, but it’s worth a shot….
Now, if you’re dealing with older women who are divorced with kids. Things get more complicated. They may have hefty bills to pay. Ex may not be paying child support any longer for kids who are 18. She may have to pay half of several private school tuitions, and she prob has a mortgage. Some of these women may have grown used to a cushy lifestyle they had with an ex and are having trouble adapting “down”. Some may be closed mined and not willing to even give love a chance with a man who doesn’t make as much as the ex. Her loss. Duh- her first marriage failed. She should be looking for love, Not money. Yes stability is important, but those details can be worked out. Some may be jaded if they were cheated on etc etc etc. So the divorced pool is a whole nother ballgame.
BUT look for a Christian woman with traditional values in that arena as well. Such a woman is likely handling the aftermath of a divorce better than most. They are hard to find though, because the ones I know are scared to get back out there. Many don’t want to even try.
Don’t give up on the ladies. They’re out there. Good luck boys!
Oh and a small town girl. There’s a reason there’s so many country songs are about small town girls!

No kidding.
My wife doesn’t shop very often and shops sales when she does. She supports my hobbies and encourages me to pursue my career and personal goals. We even do the sex about once or twice a week, and she initiates about half the time.
I’ve got nothing to complain about if some dudes have wives demanding $3000 handbags.

It is easy to pick out the ones stuck in the hive mind. They all fret about being "trendy." Avoid any women that want to be trendy and there are plenty of nice gals out there.
