Am I just getting older, or does popular culture really suck as much as it seems?

We had Alice in Chains and Nirvana. Now it's some beat with autotune. Women actually cared about looking attractive, now they just seem to want to look like a villian from Marvel comics. Nick and MTV actually had worthwhile programming. ESPN actually showed sports highlights instead of loudmouths giving their "hot take". What has happened????

and your parents and grandparents probably hated it and thought you were a fig.

it's a generational thing.

Hate to break it to you, Alice In Chains and nirvana were definitely not pop culture. They were counter/alt culture.

porn, gambling, and weed are all readily available, so it's not all bad.

Bro. You need to think about this

You list grunge music and ignore the larger grunge culture?

It's stupid AF now.
Mumble rap?
WTF is that?

It's all trash.
It's why nostalgia is killing it.
Stranger things. shite like that.

yep, my age has always had me on the fringe of generations so when the culture has changed I've always been the youngest to say get off my lawn
