It’s not that bad but what is actually happening between 20s - no shows

It’s hard to fill up 102k, and that’s understandable but curious what is actually going on. Lsu sold the game out and there were less than 300 tickets on the ticket broker sites on Saturday.

Yet there were 1000+ empties on the sidelines, the best seats in the stadium. Do these people/corporate ticket owners not even try to resell them?

What is going on?

What's going on at the games that middle-aged and older , upper income folks might not like?

The tickets were paid for in May, game day decision if they're going or not, three o'clock comes, ahhh, naaa, too late to bother getting rid of the tix.

Corporate tickets

Dying atmosphere

Age/hassle of entire day

Televised games/comfort of staying home

Prices/resale value

Then the normal excuses, concessions, traffic, DJ, PVC pipe.

I was on East sideline. Unless they were behind me, I didn’t see 1,000s of empty seats. The stadium was full and loud early on.

Lots of people on campus!

East side line guy here, only emptied out around me once we went up 23 late in the 4th. Did notice the west was empty, not surprised though. TAF holds a lot of seats. No surprise the Greeks and student athletes leave their prized western sideline seats before half.

I would love to switch over there, too bad priority points will never give me a chance. They just buy them up to resell or give away and LSU could care less since they are paid for

I've had great tickets to give away for our company. We give them to clients, but they often back out at the last minute.

I had suite tix go unused for the Saints and that was the year they won the Super Bowl. I went to the Minnesota game because a client backed out on four tix.

Maybe at the end of the first quarter the ushers should do a count of empty seats and let that many people in that would line up at a gate for a chance to be there. Could even make some small revenue on this. Maybe $25 a seat. Cannot be a season ticket holder.

Winning puts asses in the seats. It’s been true since there were asses and seats.

This was my first home game in 5 years. Huge drop off in atmosphere. No shows, students not near as rowdy, band not near as loud or even participatory!

Usually when I sit in the gold seats, there's a bunch of drunk annoying spoiled teenagers and 20 somethings acting like idiots and then leave early when their buzz wears off. I assume they are using their rich parents tickets.

TV showed the sideline seats in a wide shot at one point in the game before halftime last night, and it was a lot of old people just sitting on their hands. They weren’t even cheering, and it was third and long for Auburn. Disgraceful.

LSU needs to implement a policy where if you don’t show or leave early they take out $100,000 from your bank account for NIL money.

most of the big boosters I know of sit up in the stadium club. One I sm very close to for the last 20 years has about 30 tickets all in primo spots but he personally has not attended a game since I have known him. He gives to customers first, family second and friends last.

I can’t speak to customers but as Family if you take em you damn better well not let reports get back to him your seats were empty. You won’t get them again

Whenever I can’t make a game, I give them away to friends or business acquaintences. They never go unused.

Just give the damn things away to someone you know if you can’t find a buyer.
