For all you Landry fanboys… if he didn’t make the runoff, would you vote for the Republican who did?

Absolutely. The Landry people aren’t the ones threatening to not vote or vote D if they don’t get their candidate. That’s the cuck Ralph Abraham voters. Not sure which candidate they fall under, probably the field in general

While I believe Republican/conservative voters should have come together and voted for Rispone in the runoff, you do realize that Rispone campaign pushed flat out lies about Abraham, right? Even more so that what is typically “acceptable” in politics.

So I can at least understand why people close to Abraham stayed home.

Oh, and the out of staters that Rispone hired who didn’t care about actually winning as long as they made their money didn’t help either.

How can you make this assertion when as AG he fought against vaccine mandates and was part of the lawsuit with the MO AG versus the FBI and DHS for violating your first amendment rights during the 2020 election?

My god y’all are such clowns. I want my governor to focus on creating jobs in Louisiana, ie his job, y’all are more concerned with fever dreams rejected from the Q thread.

So many posters tell me to hate Jeff Landry but not one single reason given why I should hate him.

I voted for him because he sued schools for forcing the vaccine mandates and they backed off which allowed my kids to avoid the COVID vaccine and still attend LSU. I already mentioned the successful case against the FBI and DHS.

Now why should I hate him?

Ok, but he is the AG right now. That is the position he has been serving in for the past 8 years. It hasn’t been his job for the past 8 years to do the things that a governor should do. He was doing what a good state AG should do I.e., fighting crime and making sure the federal government doesn’t over reach on our state rights. Starting in Jan. 2024, I’m sure he will be focused on things that a state governor should be focused on.

Being from Lutcher, y’all probably married your family members, so that shouldn’t count. Landry is inbred as well, that explains his lack of brains.

I'll wait and see what he actually follows through on. Remember...this is Louisiana. No one wants better and the politicians just want to enrich themselves

Sweet lord.

No, that is not the AGs job. And let's say it was...then he would have been doing a pretty poor job, no?

He has been a candidate for governor for a year...and you have no clue what he is going to do. He skipped the debates and forums. The few he went to, he was evasive.

Now, he may end up being fine. But you should have at least some trepidation about a guy elected governor, who basically never said what he was going to do.

There are some delusional people in these Jeff Landry threads. Wags this, Schroeder that, Lundy this, Wilson that.

I’ll take this moment to provide some clarity and reality to you little men. You are out of touch and do not represent the majority of Louisianans that have spoken tonight. Furthermore, you no longer have an opportunity to claim that you know a damn thing about our new governor. Oh, I know you’ll complain. It’s what you do best. No one cares about your opinion. Your delusional. None of your candidates even sniffed double digits with the exception of Wilson who didn’t even clear the first hurdle.

You all represent what’s been wrong with this state. So enjoy your sour grapes and don’t come begging for any sugar because all you’re going to get is sugarcane.

PS: Your tears taste delicious. I’ll enjoy them over the next few days.

I just don’t get what anyone could have had against Lundy.

Independent, conservative, Christian, sincere.

Your ignorance is showing dude! And your juvenile comments about a great town tells me that maybe you had a bad life experience with someone from Lutcher.
Did one of my townsfolk (men, of course) happen to steal your girlfriend or wife, perhaps? You should move on, dude! And try to stay calm about Jeff Landry winning it all outright...everythings gonna be cool.

To ask the question is to answer it. The majority of people in Louisiana are poor trash. They elected someone who speaks to them.
