Um, he managed the pitching pretty much perfectly in '21, WTF are you talking about?

The Game 1 lineup was a front office call.

So is Snit a managerial genius? Or is he just a yes man for AA?
Can't have it both ways. Go ahead and choose now so that you won't be able to change your mind mid season like you do on so many other things.

I just can’t stand this move. Unless for some reason our payroll increases significantly, just too much for a guy whose best days are behind him. Additionally could hinder us in free agency for other arms…

We're gonna start Vaughn in left and then sign Lance Lynn and Jack Flaherty smh.

Probably win the division and then disappoint again. We will always have 2021 I guess.

$20m with our payroll is a lot for one guy if you aren't planning on him being one of your top 3 starters.

Not sure what Passan was talking about earlier.

Yates is gone.

Morton returns.

Morton is a one year deal, so the $20 mil isn’t as big a deal.

I think for the most part a yes man when it comes to the postseason. I don’t think anyone truly believes it was Snit’s call to start Dylan Lee and Tucker Davidson in WS games or to lift Ian Anderson after 5 in a no hitter.

I blame AA for not being more clear with him about how Elder should’ve been used in G3.

Lineup in game 1 was almost assuredly a FO call and I think it was probably our best possible lineup construction when facing a bullpen game.

I’m fine with blaming AA for some gameplanning issues and pitching decisions.

The 2021 roster was nowhere near the level of the roster we will have next season even if those bizarre moves you predicted do come to fruition.

Unless they're making a trade for an arm.

I still think Sonny Gray is very much in play.

Wasn't comparing rosters. Just glad we got over the hump in my prime of fandom.

I'm gonna be honest, I'm not really going to give a shite about the regular season next year. Hopefully the moves AA makes will make a difference in the postseason. Just not getting my hopes up.

Eduardo Rodriguez is who I want. He opted out w/Detroit so he's available.

Well that's no way to enjoy things but you do you.

I think if the last 3 years have proven anything it's that baseball postseason is all about getting hot at the exact right time and that that can be random AF. That's the long and short of it.

$20MM is a lot of money for a 3rd starter (at best), but it is what it is.

DOB tweeting out that Braves don’t seem to be even trying to negotiate a deal with Fried this offseason.

Really dumb if true

I kind of wonder if he has decided he wants to pitch somewhere where he doesn't have to deal with the humidity, which seems to be the trigger for his blister problems. Very real chance this is just as much of a Max decision than a Braves decision, IMO.

So we can have Charlie Morton as our #2 in a year where we are the betting favorites for a title?

That ain't it fam.
