What response would you want if 1,400 Americans were killed including beheaded babies?

This happens in American cities. American babies are beheaded, American women are kidnapped, raped, then slaughtered and paraded through American streets. American toddlers are burned alive. Countless more are taken hostage in an unknown location.
All-out war that would make anything else in our history seem like child's play would be appropriate in my opinion. Completely obliterating the group(s) responsible would be top priority and anything less would be unacceptable.

The same response I want now. Total annihilation. I'd be totally fine if Israel bombed the entire area into oblivion and said "that's it, we're taking that land and starting over."

What ethnic group would we be cleansing, and where would we be shipping the survivors?
Also, what country would be paying for it, besides us?
9/11 killed way more people than that. I also notice the number keeps climbing substantially everytime it gets reported on. I assume by middle of next week it will be 5,000 dead Israelis.

The issue is who you include in the “group” responsible.
If the beheading is what puts it over the top for you, then the group responsible is the individuals who did the beheading and anyone who ordered it or knowingly sent out people they believed capable of that level of barbarism.
Not even every Hamas member is necessarily to blame for the beheading, and certainly every single person in Gaza shouldn’t die for it.
I don’t think people should be blamed for others’ actions. Sue me.

It's not really 1,400... if you adjust for population, it would be over 30,000.
So imagine Covington/Mandeville being invaded by terrorists and every man, woman, and child being killed with several thousand being taken hostage and another 100,000 being wounded.

I would imagine if religious zealots were running around doing this and broadcasting it over social media, then a well armed populace would take matters into their own hands before the military got involved.

Do you get irate when the US has killed innocents? I think we should let Israel handle this and back them up in support. I don’t think Biden handling this or being president helps but that’s where we are at. This is what happens when idiots get mad over mean tweets and throw a tantrum.
