Iran and Saudi Arabia agree to unite behind Palestine.

They still will lose horribly in a world war without China and Russia and I just don't see China getting into a world war over Palestine. China knows it is very vulnerable right now. They have no energy independence, they get most from the Saudis. If the Saudis are in all out war with US and Nato, none of their oil tankers would even get to China. China would be done for in less than a month.
Edit - Japan would be on our side 100% as well. And Japan will absolutely jump at the chance to take China out. China just does not have the naval power right now to even be on the same playing field.

This will be a regional war at best with major powers using these countries as proxies.
If the likes of Iran start performing terror attacks in western countries over this, THEN it becomes a world war.

Destroy Gaza, destroy the Iranian nuke program, deepen the Syrian civil war and throw Lebanon into a civil war, etc.

Saudi Arabi alone has the money, facilities & space to take in all of Gaza but resolving the Palestine problem is the last thing any Arab country wants to happen.

too many rumors. I was told yesterday that the reason FOR the attack was Hamas was upset about a potential peace deal between Israel and the Saudis.

The Saudis have been working and spending lots of money to come into the West over the past couple of years. No way they throw it all away to come into a war they are sure to lose everything, especially at the request of Iran

Saudi doesn't even have to be in a war with us. We could shut down the Strait of Malacca with 2 destroyers on the Indian Ocean side and China would go dark.

People, especially the Chinese, like to point out that China now has more ships than the U.S. While technically true, we still maintain a 4:1 advantage in combat tonnage. We would absolutely wreck the PLAN on the high seas.
