Never heard of him before seeing his post retweeted. From what I see of his timeline, he's no leftist.
He's being hyperbolic, and getting lots of pushback, but there is a certain parallel, if only in the resistance to the support for each being more intense the further you go from the center.
Obviously, there are FAR more openly pro-Palestinian people on the left than there are pro-Russian (as opposed to Russian-sympathetic) on the right.

Most if not all conservatives I know were and still are rooting for Ukraine. Most I know don't want billions going to Ukraine or Israel. I'd prefer us sit out both conflicts. I think most of us are just laughing at the fake white liberal outrage towards Russia. Then you talk to them and they truly have no idea what's going on.

Russia Ukraine is not a civilizational struggle. It's the same civilization.
Israel and Muslim Murder Cults represent an EXISTENTIAL CIVILIZATIONAL STUGGLE. My support would be EXACTLY the same had any Democracy been attacked. Same as it was when it was us, France, Spain, UK, Germany, Australia, etc. I have always and will always support any and all democracies against Islamist terror and mass murder. Period. Full stop. Unequivocally. Now I challenge you to do the same.
