I honestly think he made some changes to the calls on the DL.

No one took a bigger step forward yesterday than Maason. Got a sack. Batted down a pass. Got some pressure.

We need more of this.

Pete Jenkins is great, and he bleeds purple and gold. But we can’t keep turning to him every few years, the guy is 82 years old! Maybe we should ask him who we should hire as the next defensive coordinator!

We'll get a voodoo priestess to bind his soul to a younger body when the time comes

Maybe, hopefully.

Also maybe he’s finally recovering from the knee last year and the ankle early this year.

I’m pretty sure I read an article where he said we have the best DC in the country.

I’ve seen a lot of misspellings, but c’mon now.

As to your question, I think it’s more he hasn’t played in a year. It takes a little bit to get ready for game speed.

I just can't stand the nonstop shite talking when your defense is getting gashed. It's embarrassing

He coached them all off season according to Kelly.

"Light a fire"? No. But I do think he helped fix a couple issues that were (among a multitude of issues) that were causing problems. We still have a ton of room for improvement. But those adjustments are certainly a good start.

80 plays the prior week helped his conditioning. Having Pete made him better. For the second half of the schedule he may now be the guy we want to see
