Same. And that is at a 5 min old change place. Dealer would be way more

Every oil change place I've been to in the last decade will allow you to bring your own fluids and fitters, and will charge you a nominal amount ($20-30).
Would have loved that before Dad retired from Citgo. He used to bring home whatever fluids the vehicles needed straight from the refinery. For a long time he was involved in distribution before becoming purchasing manager for the entire company.

I paid $120 (actually $110 with coupon) dealer oil change 2 months ago for a V8.
Take 5 wanted $110 for some kind of off brand oil for one of our V6 engines. Cost for 8 quarts and an oil filter is about $90.
Well worth $30 to take to the dealer and have them look for any issues while there.

80 is completely normal.
My new explorer comes with “free” earl changes for 4 years. It’s only every 7k miles which is complete bullshite.
So I just have pay for extra intervals.

Go to Walmart $54.88 for a full synthetic oil change. And you can pick the oil.
You do that and you’ll be paying more than that when they frick up your vehicle.

…for limited range and a “finite” life span for the vehicle.
