I think it was stupid as they have about 0% chance of success and are just getting folks killed but I am able to understand their motives whether I agree with them or not.
Israelis want a Jewish homeland, Palestinians want their land back as it was not Britain's to give and the world spins round and round.

How do you figure? Britain took Gaza from the Turks in the 3rd Battle of Gaza during WWI. The modern issues do stem from Britain promising it to both the Jews and Bedouins in exchange for them helping defeat the Turks but Britain did control the land.

Palestine has never been a country. It’s not their lane and never has been. And Britain had control of that land when they gave it to the Jews to form Israel. You have a very simplistic (and wrong) view of this issue.

That ship sailed a hundred years ago, and the return leg was cancelled by multiple wars where Israel's neighbors tried and failed to take it back.
It's become clear to me that for this conflict to end, either the Palestinians simply become Israeli citizens, they get relocated, or the fight to the death. They don't want their own state because they will never accept Israel on what they see as their land.
