Israel shouldn’t even enter Gaza on the ground. Just launch air strikes until the entire place is an uninhabitable graveyard. Israel must use this as a catalyst to end this problem forever by wiping everyone and everything in Gaza off the map.

Have a feeling when this is all said and done Israel will have destroyed Hamas. Just don’t know when that will be.

There is the problem. You can’t wipe 2.3 million people off the map. Gaza has 2.3 million people in a land mass the size of Orleans parish (which currently has a population on 0.39 million). It is a hopeless, desperate place where terrorist groups dominate governance and life.
There really is no solution unless and until Egypt/Saudi/Israel can agree to some type of gaza Marshall plan.

I really don't understand the point of sending rockets when the response will be 10 fold and limited to what..25 square miles? There is nowhere to hide.

This is a good point.
I do feel bad that there are going to be a lot of innocent people caught up in this shitshow, but Israel has got to lay down the law this time and make their point.
Then I hope some humanitarian actions take place and something good come out of this.
Israel deserves to live in peace.

Slightly bigger than that - it’s roughly the size of Orleans parish. It is wild to think a military as strong as Israel focused entirely on an an area you can bike across without breaking a sweat.
Why it can work is because 2.3 million people cramped in that tiny area provide real protection when the mission statement isn’t to eliminate their entire existence.
