This is was the end goal with congress butting their heads into the NCAA. It was never about players getting paid to them. They want their cut

6 month lease for 100 kids (let’s give the walk ons some) isn’t an insane cost of a great deal.

Yeah it’s turrrible journalism. Less than 1mill to lease 80 trucks for 6 months.

This is some of the stuff that the NCAA could have pushed back against early on.

Not being directly tied to being on a team and not using school, conference, or NCAA as a part of their NIL branding and promotions on social media or on regular media advertising would have focused NIL a little more on each individual.
