Laws? no.
Parents paying attention and giving a frick what their kids are doing? yes absolutely.
the issue is not that we need to have laws and such to manage it, we need parents to step up and not let Phones/Social Media and such be baby sitters. they need to be more involved with their kids, not completely intrusive, but more involved.
I look at it like this. when I was in college, I worked full time at Walmart. the store I was in had a lot of issues with kids shoplifting, mainly due to gang initiation and so on. right around the corner was a dollar theater, so we attracted kids from there nightly. parents would ditch their kids at the movies and come back a few hours later to get them. other times parents would come in, and just let the kids run rough shod with no supervision.
we didn't need laws or rules about the kids coming in - we needed the parents to give 2 shits about what the kids were doing.

You’d think they wouldn’t let kids drink or drive cars too early on, even if the young person was capable.
There are idiots that would, thankfully if caught there are laws that would punish them in some way.
The point is valid. And I never said everything nor have I advocated, I’ve only asked the question about this particular thing.

Should we lift the drinking age completely or let just anyone drive a car or motorcycle?
Driving is a privilege. We desperately need constitutional literacy classes in this nation at all ages.
No we should not have government mandated restrictions on media devices.

Phones don’t bully people. People bully people.

No but I support parenting or the lack there of. All are created equal not all will have equal outcomes.

How would you possibly enforce it?

Why in the world would we want more govt. interfering with our lives? YOU control what your children have access to. Do you need help? Are you unable to run your own home? I grew up in a different era but this generation is lost.

I support parents/adults doing their damn jobs. If your child is on social media it's because you allow them to be on social media.

Hell no! Too many "parents" need to stop being friends with their children and parent!!

I'd be okay if we just did away with all the mobile smart devices. Make them go back to only make phone calls or texts. If it's actually important you'll take the time to go sit at a desktop and type.

No, don’t depend on the government to raise your children.

So your solution is to give people who are elected by those same stupid people…power???
Brilliant!!!
