You still didn't explain what makes it "extreme."
Fiscal responsibility, smaller government, lower taxes, ending forever wars, energy independence. It’s just INSANE!!

Boebert’s reasoning (I don’t really agree with it
):
):
quote:
No for now. Now is not the time to remove the Speaker and I have decided to vote against the motion to vacate the chair. I too am frustrated by the broken promises, secret deals, and failed leadership. Time and time again we have seen legislation come to the floor that the majority of Republicans do not support. From using Democrats to pass a CR, to a debt ceiling deal endorsed by Democratic leadership, to even promising different topline budgets to Joe Biden and House conservatives, I am sick and tired of business as usual in the Swamp. My focus right now is on getting the federal government funded through 12 individual spending bills like we promised everyone in January, delivering on the priorities of the Third District, and moving forward on the Oversight and Accountability Committee’s impeachment inquiry. Another Speaker fight right now, in my opinion, undermines those priorities at the worst possible time. It would delay the hard work and important fights necessary to get this country back on track. We need to finish the job the American people elected us to do, and I’m here to ensure that happens.

Awful reasoning. Makes no sense. She's been exposed

She mouths that she's not happy with McCarthy's performance as Speaker, but then rushes to hide behind any flimsy excuse to refuse to hold him to any level of accountability. This is a perfect snapshot of the dysfunction of our federal government.

IIRC, yes. I believe she is due any day.

Yep, why I said earlier Gaetz exposed the uniparty GOPe. It's time to end this crap. Funny Pelosi getting kicked out of an office.

Bannon should be the one holding all the House and Senate members who claim to be America First accountable. Both Boebert and Luna appear frequently on War Room, Bannon needs to get both their asses on the show so they can explain themselves.

The baby is a month old. LUna was ill for several weeks with fever and infection post partum. She is on maternity leave.

Agree, but what about MTG, does she get a pass?

quote:
FY2016-FY2019 deficit spending totals just over $3T.
FY2020-FY2023 (estimated) deficit spending totals $8.8T
The problem with this statement is that 2016 wasn’t Trump’s year, as it was Obama’s last FY.
And 2020 was Trump’s, not Biden.
Budget deficits under Trump:
2017: $666 B
2018: $779B
2019: $984 B
2020: $3.13 T ($1.02 T was non-COVID)
So roughly $5.5T of budget deficits, which added over $7T to the debt.
Slice it anyway you want, but the foundation for inflation started in 2019.

Luna is on maternity leave, right?
Posted on 10/4/23 at 9:23 am to stout
Maternity leave is 12 weeks without medical issues which apparently she had. He IG says 8/26/23 is when the baby was born.

BS! Trump took a lot of heat on this board for his spending.
