My kids are playing more baseball/softball and I am thinking about getting a camera to record instead of having to constantly hold the phone up. I would rather have a GoPro since I could use it more than the Mevo for other things like skiing and fishing. Does anyone use a GoPro with GameChanger that could share some reviews? Pros and Cons of using it with GameChanger compared to Mevo?

Little Maxstynn's never going to make it to the big leagues if you're just using a GoPro and some software. We paid to have a batting lab installed at our house in Watson so we could make changes in real time.

I'm not looking for that level of detail. We already have access to other video training with the club. I was just wondering if it worked fine with GameChanger to stream games and stuff.

Go with the GoPro. Nobody wants to watch videos of your kids playing ball but the video quality will be top notch

I use GoPro for this. I think the mevo would be better. The battery does not last long enough. GoPro is a good option but I think others like mevo may be better.

hire a professional videographer to record his games and cut up the tape. Gotta have quality film for the MBL scouts.

Just watch and enjoy. I get most of my son’s videos from other people. I don’t want to jinx him…so I just nervously watch.

You should definitely look into the Nexus Mount. That’s what we use with our phone/go pro. Works great, doesn’t fall or move much and it helps it from over heating with the sun!

Which product has the capability to detect launch angle and exit "VELO"? That's the cool stuff you need to know so you can send it off to the MLB scouts.

Second this. The other parents will be live streaming the game on Facebook so just steal their videos

The GoPro is great, because it is small, and the video always comes out absolutely beautiful on a large tv. Some people do not care for the wide angle lens, but for filming your kids playing baseball, I'm sure it's fine.

Y'all frickers hate some kids sports.

Bunch of basement dwelling video game losers

There isn't a damn thing wrong with using current technology to film your kids sports endeavors. Parents have been filming kids baseball games for decades. Get over yourselves.

Filming an ab here and there is one thing. Live streaming the u8 "world series" from Lafayette 15 weekends a year is just stupid and a waste of time and money.

GoPros are better for fast motion/close range video.

You can buy a good DSLR that records video and you'll be able to use it for standard photography.

This is why I tell people to just watch and enjoy. There are hundreds of hours of games in my mother's closet that noone has or will ever watch.

Maybe film 1 game a year or something if you must. You may think you will now, but you will never wanna go back and watch a season of u10 baseball games.

Just admit that you are a perv and just want to record MILFs without making it too obvious.
