Obviously what has transpired in CU has been the story of college football so far. Just a ton of story lines there, we all know what they are, and have been discussed. Pac 12 stronger than I can recall in recent memory. Quite simply what do you think CU’s record will be this year when the dust settles? I say .500 they go 6-6. Thoughts, they do better or worse and why?

I think they are an 8-4 team. Good team, but aren't good enough or deep enough to stay with the top teams in the league. Lose to USC, UCLA, Utah, and one of WSU or Oregon.

Yeah that seems about right.

USC, UCLA and Utah are all definitely better than them.

Utah in particular I can see just obliterating them physically

You beat me to it, I was going to say 8-4 also. Although 7-5 would be a reasonable guess.

I think they get 1-2 conference wins. Pac 12 is deep.

I’ll go 6-6, but 5-7 is still a legit possibility.

Good point here because I also think it’s their last game of season or close to it, attrition/injury bug already probably hit by then and Utah will just impose their will in the trenches.

i said before the season and got blasted that i think they win 6 or 7 games...i stand by that. 7 games if injuries dont pile up, 6 of they start to. then i think they win a bowl game.

And I don’t think anyone would say that would not be a success having 1 win last year. That and the attention the program has gotten is just incredible.

I think a 7 to 8 win season is a major success, but I think after the early season hype, if they only win 7 they will be getting clowned on a good bit

Which would be absurd. 7 wins is a huge accomplishment for CU.

National pundits were calling them the worst roster in FBS a few weeks ago. Now they'll get clowned if they win 7 games and make a bowl game for the first time in 3 years?

Yes. I don't agree with it, but they will be.

They are getting huge hype right now, and they are talking absolute shite like crazy.

By week 4 people are going to start turning on them.

Pac 12 seems tough this year but they appear to be able to turn any game into a shootout so I could see them winning a game or two that they shouldn’t. I’ll say 7 or 8

Their season win total opened at 4 and was bet all the way down to 3 when all the scrubs Deion processed left.

They beat win through oregon I think. Lose to USC. Then lose 2 more after between washington, UCLA, washington st, and utah. So 9-3. I think they win their bowl game.

I bet them at 3.5 wins, so 4-8 is all I care about

Realistically they are 3-2 going into October vs

Arizona State (W)
Stanford (W)
UCLA (toss-up, lean towards UCLA)
Oregon State (L)
Arizona (toss up)
Washington State (L)
Utah (L)

6-6 or 7-5
