Used galaxy watch on Amazon. Mine was half the price as new and looked brand new.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have any Apple devices. I guess I should have specified "except Apple."

Ew you're a green bubble. I don't wanna help you anyway.

JK Garmin would be my next pick.

Same, but here lately I've been questioning its heart rate accuracy. I wonder if a different brand would have better sensors.

I never have heard that one before. I don't even know what it means.

I looked at these. Any thoughts on the Galaxy 4?

I have a garmin that is above your price point but they have a lot of different models. The sleep tracking got me to stop drinking.

One of my favorite things about it is that it doesnt have celluar signal. I can leave my phone at home or in my car and not get texts while I am running/riding.

Apple can do that and still have cell service. Fitness mode can block everyone except who you want

I've had the 3 for about 2 years, had the original before that. It does what I need it to for running, biking, etc. GPS is pretty good. I use it for some other workouts, not all. It does most of what you would expect, I think, and I haven't dealt with cadence lock or whatever yet. I think.

New Coros pace 3 seems to be an amazing value if your primary focus is running/fitness and less so for smart features.

If smart features, Garmin handles those a bit better, or you can go for a real smart watch like the galaxy.

They have a guy on YouTube who goes super deep into fitness watches, comparing all the models against each other and to a device that is accurate for the given task. Gps accuracy compared to a map, sleep accuracy compared to what is basically a mini EEG machine, heart rate monitor compared to a polar chest strap, etc. Apple is consistently good. Check out his review below.

I just picked up the Forerunner 265. It's over the price point here but a damn fine watch. Not sure what functions and capability you're looking for but this sucker could damn well take you to the moon and back.

Depends on what you want it for.
Some like the Apple Watch are better if you want a smart watch. Others like Garmin and the Fitbit Charge 5 are better if you want a fitness tracker.
I have the Fitbit and I love it.

I have a Garmin Venu 2. Does everything you need to track, allows you to read and respond to text, answer phone calls, etc.

Agree on how eye opening it is when you compare your sleep with and without alcohol while wearing any watch that monitors sleep.
