Great news!
BUT OF COURSE…the LIBERAL ENVIRONMENTAL FILTH DONT WANT IT MINED HERE
Daily Mail
So we can mine the main component to the precious EV batteries that the left is trying to force us to drive here in the OLE USA.
But they don’t want the lithium to come from the USA due to environmental concerns that the mining will have.
Guess we can just continue getting the batteries from CHINA.

Geologists have uncovered what they believe could be the world's largest lithium deposit inside an ancient supervolcano along the Nevada-Oregon border in the US.

As of 2022, the average battery-grade lithium carbonate price was $37,000 per metric ton, meaning the volcano is potentially sitting on $1.48 trillion worth of the precious metal.
Canada-based Lithium Americas Corporation plans to begin mining as early as 2026, mine the region for the next 40 years, and then backfill the pit. However, the plan has been criticized due to the environmental impact of mining and claims that the site is on sacred Native American land.

The Joe Regime will probably find some way to sell it to the Chinese, then buy it back from them a five times the price.

China will be here soon to extract it

So they're admitting that EV's (as a green alternative to ICE-powered vehicles) are a fraud. Nice.

And then won't issue a permit to mine it, so save some speckled salamander the lives 300 miles away from it

Joe gonna name it after some Native American Tranny and turn it into a nature preserve where groomers can take their victims.

I think the market knows it, too. I didn't even realize it was LAC, but it only cause a bump from about $18 to $19.20 per share. The price of LAC was $32 a year ago. Time to buy more shares

It’ll be hilarious watching liberals arse rape the landscape in the name of environmentalism.

How much you wanna bet, the funding for the “environmental” groups come from China…..

Oh yeah, Great News. We can now stop robbing the earth of its fossil fuels and begin robbing the earth of its lithium instead, and eventually end up regurgitating further environmental wack job crusaders in the future who would prefer we just pound sand I suppose once we start having to figure out what to do with all these batteries all over the place.
I say that until humanity can come up with a battery that can serve our needs with some semblance of functionality for people who travel more than the simple 9 to 5er commute, and not cost people an arm and a leg to purchase and maintain, just leave me to my dependable fossil fuel burners. I mean, if it weren’t for the simple fact that my food, my transportation, my livelihood, and our entire economy depends upon dependable and inexpensive transportation, I’d say have fun experimenting, but it does.

Let’s talk about this for a second. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that tribes continue to call millions of acres of land sacred while simultaneously letting large numbers of their tribe live in abject poverty. Other than casinos and tourist spots, there’s very little in terms of a robust economy for a great number of these tribes.

If we get china to mine it for us it won't hurt the environment

Hey hippies, this looks healthy, right?
(Lithium mining pools)

There’s a big load of lithium down in South America. For some reason the USA is not courting the two countries that have it.

You’ll never be able to satisfy the lefties. They want us to walk around eating lettuce while their leaders fly around in private jets

That is the ultimate reality.
“ProgressIves” don’t actually want conclusions. That means the end of “progress”, which can’t happen. Their ENTIRE self identity completely centers around collectively having some sort of “crusade” to wage. Some “wrong” to “right”. Always. Perpetually. Infinitely. If they have no sense collectivism they cease to function because they have no sense of individual self-worth.
While they will NEVER admit it, jealousy and envy is a core tenant of their psyche. They don’t hate you because you are labeled as a “conservative”. They hate you because you have the ability to be happy with you own plot in life. Whatever that may be.
