MGM Resorts International was hacked by the same group of attackers that breached Caesars Entertainment Inc. weeks earlier, according to four people familiar with the matter.

Scattered Spider, which is also known as UNC3944, is composed of hackers who are based in the US and UK, some as young as 19 years old, according to a cybersecurity researcher familiar with the group.

The FBI said in April 2022 the group had leased its ransomware to others that has resulted in compromises of at least 60 entities worldwide.

Stayed in Labeurge in Lake Charles a while back but their problem was self induced. Ran out of room keys so were asking people to share keys. Lol. Only in Louisiana.

Yeah, I was at Delano in July. I would be pretty pissed if this happened while there.

What happened if someone had $100 in the machine mid-cyberattack? No proof?

I wonder if there is a connection to what I’ve been going through with them since last Saturday.

I deposited some money for the first time using Venmo. An hour or so later the money is gone before I can place a bet. I get an email telling me my withdrawal request has been approved and a separate email saying my account was closed because the name associated with my Venmo did not match the name on my account (Venmo is the name I go by, account is full legal name). I have emailed them multiple times telling them that the money has not been refunded to either my bank account or my Venmo account. Going on more than a week now and all I get are robotic responses, despite my requests that someone call to discuss.
