Looking at the schedule we are more talented than everyone else left on our roster except Bama, and that's a tossup. We will be favored in 10 of the 11 remaining games.

We beat Bama and we are right back in the playoff race, in fact even if we lose a close one to them and win the West and SECCG it would shock me if they left off a 2 loss SEC champ with losses to Bama and FSU.

We got this boys. Chins up

Ole Miss, A&M, Auburn are teams I know that overreaction of the FSU game will give LSU a big time problem passing wise.

You're going to piss off a lot of shite heads with positivity this early in the morning. People need to shite on this team and staff to feel better about their miserable lives and you're trying to take that away from them. Shame on you!

A&M absolutely is not an overreaction lol. According to 247 team composite they have more blue chip talent than us for starters. And wirh Bobby petrino, their offense has been unleashed. Evan Stewart is an absolute stud and Noah Thomas opposite of Stewart is built like Johnny Wilson and Keon Coleman. Anais smith and Moses Muhammad can play too. They kicked our teeth in last year and have a competent playcaller now In Bobby petrino. How the hell is that game an overreaction

Problem is that does not matter if you dont use that talent. QB has to distribute the ball effectively to utilize that talent. Coaches have to actually put the talent in the game...

It was New Mexico State.

I don’t give a damn who it was. I always keep up with recruiting Evan Stewart was a top ten overall player in the 2022 recruiting class and best receiver in the country for a reason he’s been a stud, their sophomore qb Conor weigman was another 5 star top 25 player in his class. blue chip talent on offense with petrino calling the plays is scary. You can cope and say they played a cupcake but Bobby petrino had Arkansas in the early 2010’s dropping damn near 40 a game with not having talent close to what he’s working with at A&M. Last year when they rolled us in college station we weren’t New Mexico State.

If you think these corners rn will be fine covering Noah Thomas, Evan Stewart, anais smith and Moses Muhammad you are absolutely insane and need to be drug tested

Then there's no point in discussing it any further

I never said that they would be fine. I named three teams based on their week 1 performances should give LSU fits with their passing game.

Lol you telling CC you keep up with recruiting tells me you definitely dont pay attention to the recruiting page on this site.

Yes A&M looked good on offense against New Mexico but still only put up 411 yards offense. We put up 633 on them last year. Pertrino hasnt had a good offense in quite some time, it was one of the concerns of hiring him. And when push comes to shove you think Jimbo isnt gonna have a hand in that offense? Its a ticking time bomb waiting to happen.

A&M o-line is below average at best.

They are going to be weak against the pass. It’s very uncertain if our current offensive personnel/scheme will be able to take advantage of that weakness.

Or people can see rather objectively that our ceiling is now 9-10 wins. As our talent ceiling continues to decrease bit by bit we’re going to continue dropping down a tier or so in cfb pecking order.

That’s not being negative, just realistic.

People love to say how talented we are because to them, that implies an easier fix. What if we’re just not THAT talented (we’re not).

Well, he also started a thread before the weekend asking if anyone really thought FSU could beat LSU and predicted a 20+ win for LSU.

LSU could recover fine and work its way back into competing for significant things, but people are justifiably skeptical of any dallastiger55's predictions at this point.
