Y’all see Travis Hunter today playing for coach Prime? 100+ yards AND an int on defense.

We see ideas trickle from high school to college all the time (RPO, etc) and I think this idea of going both ways with your top guys is the future.

Can you imagine Harold Perkins getting the ball in the red zone?

I’ll be curious to see if he is playing 130 snaps a game come week 9. Very few players have the ability to do that, and I don’t think you would really want that as a coach or fan.

Its a bold strategy playing your star that many snaps. Its a long season and we will see how heathy and productive he can be on the back half the season

I know, don't think, you have any clue what you are talking about.

He played both ways because he had to. It was a necessity for them.

Neaux, I can’t.
Two-way players are incredibly rare and it’s a “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” situation. If you have an Elite CB that you let play WR, and the kids gets hurt at any point on offense, you’ve lost essentially 2 position players.

Also, it was a game against a Big12 opponent. SEC is built different, my guy

I'd consider a player like Hunter's use similar to how much you're willing to throw your ace in baseball. A ranked game, you might be willing to stretch him a bit but no way this can be a weekly thing at 100% both sides

Hunter is special, he’s not the norm. The incredible thing is that Deion got him to follow him twice

Let's be real, there was zero chance he was staying at jsu once deion left.

Hunter will get absolutely wiped out playing 100+ snaps every game, especially in their home games in altitude.

I do not believe this is the future, especially in the NFL.

Deion taught him well

Now if only Colorado had a baseball team, maybe he could play a decent left field and steal bases

Say what you want but Deion is a marketing whiz. He was when he created Primetime at FSU and into the NFL and MLB. He is using Hunter as a marketing tool to future recruits. A national TV game with all eyes on him and he hit a home run with his son and Hunter. He threw in the Heisman stuff just to prime the media. Hunter won’t play that many snaps again but he’ll definitely be used both ways just not to that degree.
