What the hell does a liberal know about this?

I have told my kids we are heading into an era without a middle class. We will have 30% elite and 70% poor.
Choose your career accordingly.

There is a lot of truth in your post. But what about Benito's top hand? Maybe he is a driven hard worker without the skill set to run his own business. He works hard and puts in the hours, but he drives through the projects only to see Tyrone driving his new challenger on 22" rims and eating fresh seafood on the EBT.

When tramp stamps are a necessity, we are definitely in trouble!

When my son was very young I told him:
"People spend millions of dollars every year removing imperfections from their skin. Why would you pay money to put one on?"
He never got a tattoo.

At my house in the Rocky Mountains I employ a landscape company. It is owned by a man named Benito Barrios. Benito was an immigrant who didn’t have shite. He followed the advice in paragraph 1. Eventually, he took the clients who had come to trust him, the crews who loved and respected him, and started his own company. He is now rich. Why can Benito do it, but young Americans can’t? Because they are unworthy pussies
I have several relatives that didn't complete college and have no prospects for a good job. I have offered start up money for a lawn/lanscape business. Both declined and continue to live in poverty.
We have far too many that want the shiny things but are unwilling to "do things they don't want" to get them.

If those are average prices, then obviously many folks can afford these prices.
If people can't afford these average prices, sales of those items will go down, and companies will be forced to lower prices.
Prices wouldn't be that high if people weren't paying for it.

Not so much for housing. Corporations and wealthy people can buy up as much as they are willing to shell out.

Oh, bullshite. Work hard, advance, don’t get divorced, don’t engage in substance abuse, don’t commit crimes and live within your means. These are simple rules. Almost anyone who follows them will get ahead - way ahead.
That's straight up bullshite! I have a very good paying job and if I only work 40hrs a week I barely can pay my bills and living expenses with zero left over. I don't have a car note or credit cards.
I don't know how a lot of people make it.

Covid cash exacerbated this.
