Have y'all ever cut up a fridge before?

I have a normal sized fridge that needs to go up a lot of steps and my parents are seniors (its at their camp) so not easy to remove.
I was thinking of removing to doors, compressor, etc... and then taking a sawzall and cutting it into a few mid-size pieces. Has this been done? Did we discuss this here once?

I’ve cut one up with tannerite but that’s about as far as that goes.
Just pull the doors and drawers out to move em. Or hire out.

Rent one of these from Home Depot or Uhaul.
It has rollers on the back that glide down the stairs.
Tighten the strap and you're ready to go.
