What is the worst town you've ever been in?

I would have to say Lake City, Florida. That place sucks. What say tOT? I'll hang up and listen.

Kermit, TX is the worst town I have ever had to stay in. Tiny, nothing to do, nowhere to eat, somehow still traffic.

Parts of Istanbul scared the shite out of me as an outsider. Most of the touristy parts are awesome, but I had to go to a sketchy area on the Asian side that was really messed up, and this was during the Syrian migrant crisis too. I grew a beard and wore dark clothes when I was there. One day I couldn’t leave the hotel because some rather violent protests going on outside. Military coup was a month after I left.

There are some nice things about most towns. The worst of New Orleans is about as bad as you can get in the US.
I maintain that Gary is worse. Pine Bluff Arkansas is probably up there though.
