Every election cycle we are told this is the one where we finally have blacks on our side. "Black men are based, they get it"

This isn't how it works. It isn't even so much that black people love Democrats, but more so that they hate Republicans, which they view as a party for white people.

Identity politics is a bitch, but it works. Democrats are willing to play dirty to win, and they understand these tactics. Republicans have stupidly tried to pander to the black vote for decades and with basically nothing to show for it. The only way they could make inroads, would be if they out-pandered the Democrats, which the Democrats would have no problem getting into that bidding war.

Well, considering the GOP national leadership have exactly zero plans to reach out to these groups, what do you expect?

I can’t say I blame these people for being turned. They are there for the taking, but The Party says, “Nah.”

Sorry, but that’s horseshite. Not only have their been plans all of my adult life, but the GOP has flushed millions of dollars down the drain pursuing this fruitless vote.

Residental black man here, Trump's black support has grown big time. He won't get majority but he will get more than he did in 2020.

BIDEN WILL NOT GET THE SAME TURNOUT HE DID FROM BLACK VOTERS IN 2020. Many just will sit home, if Trump keeps the same voter base from 2020 it'll be a landslide because POC are not turning out for Biden again.

If you honestly believe this, I've got a bridge to sell you.

Republicans have done nothing to appeal to minorities so minorities don't vote for them.

George Bush nearly won Hispanics in 2004 because he made a massive effort to appeal to them.

There should never have to be targeting of identity groups for political purposes.

When black people accept that they are equal to white people, they will not need to be pandered to anymore. Evidently black people do not believe they are.

They've been wasting time and money trying to reach out to blacks my entire life. They just need to stop trying to change to cater to other groups, and just have a consistent message that will resonate with people as they have more life experiences.

GOP refuses to learn anything.

They really like losing so it will rile up their base for midterms.

True losers.

I am black and I can tell you who ever they gave money to, to try and garner the black vote was grifting because in the black community there has been 0 actually out reach or boots on the ground. Dems constantly have boots on the ground and community engagements. Something simple as fighting against crime in black communites is a easy GOP win which dems never do. All they do is dumbass slogan like back the blue which comes off as you only care about cops and not the people.

In fairness to him, there's a widespread misconception that all gays are liberal. It's just not true.

Yeah.

Remember that time some Republican said, "Poor kids are just as bright as white kids?"

Black people just aren't going to vote for people who say things like that.
