I'm guessing this guy will file for a speedy trial as well. He's currently sitting in jail because he's the only co-conspirator who couldn't make bail. Trump will let him sit there.

The judge denied him bond because of his risk of committing additional crimes. Likely because he assaulted FBI agents.

But your version feels good I’m sure.

Doesn’t mean the state will win, but they’re likely ready and more ready than the kraken she-clown.

Trump didn't come up with this scheme

I don't know what he did and I'm not making that pt. I said that's what the other defendants will argue.

as usual I like Wednesday's input. As a rico case , it kinda has to happen all together, and defendants pulling in wildly divergent approaches will drive Willis crazy and cause 5 times as much work by the prosecutor

The peons at the bottom will.

Powell, Giuliani, Eastman, Ellis, etc. came up with the scheme and Trump followed their lead/advice.

He is also a black guy being politically prosecuted for a make believe crime. Every day he is in jail another 1% blacks move from dem to repub.

Because Trump will absolutely be found guilty, which will be reversed on appeal.

Guilty verdict will be before election. Appeal will be after.

The dickbag democrats know this.

If he's jailed for 92 days, that's 100% of the black vote. Impressive.

Well THIS is a spicy meatball. Also, finally someone files a proper motion to show Patriots why the "I thought we had a right to speedy trials" argument is stupid 90% of the time.

This is common. The few RICO cases I helped prosecute, every one had at least one defendant request speedy trial.

Result is typically to be accommodating to defense to allow extended time to prepare. This time is typically at least a few months; I’ve seen cases that were given years. I’ve never seen a RICO case where extended time was not given to a defendant, regardless of whether another defendant requested a speedy trial.

However, nothing about this particular case is typical.

Suggesting that a RICO case with 19 defendants is somehow ready for trial 60 days from now is an absolute joke.

But also, "Why did they wait 2 and half years to bring these indictments?!?!?"
