Not the same as a debate, at all.

The clown shows are not debates.

He has never been treated fairly in debates.

Calling more people names

Dude could coast into the WH if he'd stick to policy and quit acting like a teenage girl.

I don't mind him skipping the first debate but I will not vote for any candidate who refuses to debate.

Under any circumstances.

You can't complain about the DOJ being weaponized and then simultaneously say it's ok to not debate. We have foundations of our democracy and not having a debate is weak, pussy shite.

Again, I don't mind him not going to the first one but he needs to be there when the field thins out

Where is he hiding? CNN Townhall... interviews...etc.

If you read the OP, he is hiding from everyone but his choir in this strategy.

To win a General Election generally (if you are a Republican), you have to be everywhere. You have to be front and center, you have to debate, you have to go into enemy territory, do traditional outlets that hate you, etc.

Biden can get away with it because Democrats have a much easier path to victory than Rs

Rs have to work harder.

Man, I don’t mind telling you that this strategy really seems like a Hail Mary pass to go to overtime.

And just to add...

Trump did NOT take this strategy in 2016.

He took on all challengers. He debated every time. He went into the lion's den countless times and FOUGHT.

He is not doing that this time yet and it shows.

He needs to that in this race, now. Wire to wire.

There are far more Democrats than Republicans, and more left leaning Indys than Right leaning Indy's.

This is not true. If the Republicans ran someone reasonable they would win this easily.

That's precisely what Jake Tapper and that angry dude Rachel Maddow would have you believe.

It is very true. The voting public has always tilted that way, and in the Electoral College, Democrats as much as they hate it, have a huge advantage.

Republicans have much fewer paths to Victory than Democrats, and that is a fact. Its not up for debate right now, that is a truth.

Republicans can overcome it, and have, obviously.

But they need to run great campaigns nationally. They need to be front and center, and have energy.

He's got to repeat 2016, and honestly, do better than that, because there's no Green Party this time.
