I honestly believe the size of federal government could be reduced by 50% over ten years by returning power back to the state and local government.

Just like it was intended originally under the Constitution.

When a "successful" budget is "reducing" the deficit spending, ie you only spend a trillion more than you make versus 2 trillion, something is definitely wrong.

Zero based budgeting. You dont say, Im going to cut spending by 5% you say, why do I need this department at all.

For goodness sake 17 intel agencies? The military has never had an audit. Dept of education, as well as others can be dissolved, combined (and that does not mean like "homeland security" where we call a combination addding an entire new dept, or sent back to the states.

It is the problem with the govt now. The fed wields so much power, money over the agencies they created, that the states cant contest them without fear of being cut off from the very tax money created by its own citizens.

Test scores alone are justification for "liquidation" in any form. Gender ideology coupled with explicit sexual content should also not be a part of the curriculum in any school.

I can't remember the guest's name but he was on War Room awhile back and he said counting federal government contractors the federal government has over 21 million people on payroll.

Just of the top of my head:

Dept. of Education

ATF

IRS

At least half of the "Intelligence" agencies.

DEA

There are something like 500 federal angencies, at least half of them could be eliminated and you would never no the difference.

I was on the front line of the Common Core battle. The political elite kept focusing the battle on STANDARDS so the ill informed screamed against us parents in the movement.
But the battle was against the Dept of Ed grabbing more power from the States.
The battle was against The Common Core State Initiative …. And it was bringing in everything you are seeing now in the schools.
The politicians told us we were conspiracy people … HA.
Whose laughing now.
We saw the State Right grab in 2010 and the parents who also would not fight then are seeing the results.
The state Leap test … a joke
You only need to pass 30 to 40% of the test to garner a Mastery level score.

The bought for political parties.. the media … the Marxist activist sure fought for the CCSI and won against the parents of 2010.

And with the CSE trying to get into our State via legislation is a huge battle the leftist push each year. So far we win but more Republicans being bought to support it.
A matter of time. Louisiana will adopt it fully.
Comprehensive Sex Education (CSE).
Not what you want for children. It is much worse than now. Slippery slope. The leftist get an inch and actually wins by a mile!
Aren’t you seeing it. It never stops. The more you fight against it .. you’re a conspiracy hack. Then its here and to late.

1000% agree…. Call and demand legislators draft legislation to do so.

The candidates running for Governor cannot stop what is coming. States cannot protect themselves from Dept of Ed CCSI and CSE unless they stop accepting the 6 Billion from the Feds.

What candidate will say that????

They can micro steps to appease you but the BIG change comes from stopping federal funds.
Just saying.
