Where are you seeing this? I have not heard a word about that.
That timeline is likely pulled out of someone's arse but Lionsgate/Starz and some private college around Atlanta made news this week with their re-instituting of mask mandates. Lesser known are that Rutgers and Georgetown have done the same thing.

Do you consider the ECDC reliable? They documented what was likely to happen this coming winter. In May of 2022. (ETA: the link is a direct link to a PDF, be warned.)

Travel restrictions should only be introduced or reintroduced where they are absolutely necessary and
proportionate for the protection of public health. For example, certain non-pharmaceutical
interventions, such as mask-wearing, should be considered before introducing or reintroducing any
travel restrictions. Any new measures should be communicated to key stakeholders, such as transport
operators, so they can prepare and avoid any negative potential impacts. Should Member States wish
to activate contact tracing of cross-border passengers, common tools, such as the EU Passenger

Anthony Fauci’s recent comments during a Wayne State University event have some concerned that a lockdown 2.0 could be on the horizon, despite the social, emotional, financial, and educational toll it took on children, adults, and society at large.
At an event titled “Pandemic Lessons and Role of Faculty in Pandemic Preparedness with Dr. Anthony Fauci,” the former director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases said the decision to shutter society was the right move.
Jordan Schachtel pulled some noteworthy quotes from the 40-minute discussion.
quote:
“If you have a vaccine available, you might want to lock down temporarily so you can get everybody vaccinated,” he suggests.
Rejecting the idea that lockdowns are a moral question, he added that “lockdowns have a place, but they are not a permanent solution.”

Well that is an extremely vague set of recommendations and suggestions from 15 months ago.
Far different from the “TSA source” who said masks on planes will happen in September, before wider applications.

A whole bunch of people will happily lockdown because they know the govt will end up sending them a big fat check
Except Ukraine. The valve on their cash pipeline will likely get closed if we actually have to send stimulus to our own citizens.

Certain segment needs to hit their outrage quota so these sites bring out the manufactured BS to get them foaming.
Same exact shite as last year. Incendiary headlines about the return of mandates to get people riled up with nothing ever happening.

Thanks for pointing that out. Using that as a foundation for looking more closely at what popped up in Google I see all of them are either repeats of a story posted on NewsNation (with a link back only to NNs front page) or a slight re-wording of the NN story (but still the link attributing the original story).
This is a great example of the problem with our media simply regurgitating each other's stories instead of doing their own stories on something they feel is newsworthy. GIGO at work.

I frequent assisted living facilities in my trade. I overheard mgmt talking about the uptick at one of them.

I doubt any red state does this. Maybe blue states and big cities do
