I am looking for a Hyundai dealer not selling the Palisade over the MSRP or even giving a discount. Are there any out there?

You are looking for a dealer who is voluntarily selling his inventory at a far-below-market rate?

Just depends on how far you are willing to drive. At some point, the money and time difference ain't worth it

Keep looking. Never pay MSRP

Just yesterday the OT condemned the automobile industry and dealer tactics gouging over MSRP. Today, you're an awful man and 'entitled' for not wanting to just pay their ransom

Go to cars.com, choose the make, model and trim level, filter by maximum distance in miles you're willing to go, and sort by price low-to-high.
Find the car you want, call the dealership, ask for the "Internet sales desk," and find out if the vehicle is really there.
If the dealer sounds legit, offer to put a $100 deposit on your credit card to hold the car.

We bought ours a couple yrs ago @ Ralph Sellers in Gonzales. It was priced accordingly. They did not apply those ridiculous Market Value fee's that added another 5-6k to the vehicle. We paid an acceptable price considering the price of cars right now.

My wife bought a Santa Fe under MSRP at Greg Leblanc in Houma.

Try Matt Bowers in Gulfport, MS. I found what I wanted on their lot for about 3k less than BR area dealers. Did everything, including trade via email. Drove down there, swapped vehicles and was out in less than 30 minutes.

Whatever you save up front on the Hyundai, you’ll lose that and more on the tail end. Just bite the bullet and buy a Toyota- even a used one. In 10yrs, that used 4Runner will still be fantastic, and that Hyundai will probably be in a junk yard.
