Judge Awards Andy Ngo $300k

Multnomah County Circuit Judge Chanpone Sinlapasai split the damages equally among the three no-show defendants — Katherine Belyea, Madison Allen and Joseph Evans — after a roughly hourlong trial where Ngo’s testimony went unchallenged. Evans now goes by the legal name Sammich Overkill Schott-Deputy.
An attorney for Schott-Deputy made a last-ditch bid to avert defeat by default, but Sinlapasai rejected the effort, saying it was too late to respond to the 3-year-old lawsuit.
Schott-Deputy was “one of the first to strike” Ngo as he live-streamed a protest in downtown Portland on May 29, 2019, while Allen hit Ngo over the head with a sign and Belyea tossed a milkshake on him, according to the lawsuit.
Hope it gets changed to Schott-By-Deputy or, if I'm making wishes, Schott-By-Rittenhouse.

The trial he lost was against those who doxxed him and his location that allowed these 3 to come and assault him

If the non-legalize advocates were smart they'd make posters of these people and how crappy the WC has become after legalization. Slippery slope example in spades.
Good for Andy to get this more of a moral victory as he won't get the money, but will help keep him safer some...and just some as the other doxxing trail was a shame.

Those aren't "milkshakes".
They fill them with very dryly mixed concrete to be used explicitly as dangerous weapons with extreme prejudice. They've simply just found a "loophole" that casts a gray area on what constitutes a "weapon". This tactic has been going on in Seattle and Portland for quite a few years.
As an aside, anyone else miss seeing videos of the Samoan dude that ran with the PB and was constantly bulldozing anqueefer filth? Those were fun times. Too bad the eff bee eye basically neutralized the PB.
Big Samoan beast absolutely flattening dozens of anqueefers armed with shields, clubs, bear spray and bike chains with his bare hands = bad. But hundreds of anqueefers with dangerous/deadly weapons assaulting a single unarmed reporter = perfectly fine. The world of the Left coast is fricking backwards. Watch the judge who passed this ruling in favor of Ngo get his vehicles and home burned to the ground. You know it's coming. The anqueefers fear NOTHING on their home turf.
