May be a 2 part question here, I've got a 250 Yamaha Timberwolf that I need to get 2 new back tires for.

1. Where is the best place to get tires. (In person, I'm in Birmingham or internet)
2. How hard is it to put a new tire on that doesn't come on the rim, never done it before.

YouTube installing tire with lighter fluid.
Scary as hell but works.

If you haven't done this before then do not try to do it in the presence of ladies or juveniles.
You may acquire a new skill but they will likely learn some new words as well.

Damnit, I was hoping it wouldn't come to this.

your bigger issue may be getting the old ones off.

Not very easy.

I get all mine from the Interco Blem list. I'm not sure how much shipping is because it's only about 15 miles down the road from me. Got a set of super swampers for 2 of our 4 wheelers a couple years ago for like $25 per tire.

I got 2 rear ones for mine off amazon. I tried for like 2 hours to get the second original tire off of the rim but couldn't break the bead at all. I was using my truck as well. Ended up bringing the new tires and old tire/rims to discount tire and they swapped them for like $10.00. I felt like an idiot after that. Jacking around for hours when I couldve just brought them there to begin with for $10 freakin dollars.

Good to know, I'll probably take this route, not sure how much hassle I'm willing to go through.

Vampire's on front axle and super swamper's on the back axle. Was a killer combo on my brothers 4-wheeler when I was a boy in the 90's!!!

I have a harbor freight manual tire machine. I still couldn’t get my new tires on the bead.
I had to bring them to a tire shop to install. They charged me like 50$. I felt like an idiot for fighting them so long.
Bring them to a shop for install.
I have the mudlites and love them.

What is the best tire to get that doesn't cut up the wet road? We have to pass the wet road everyday 4-6 times during hunting season and the road gets cut up pretty bad.

Something shallow like a dirt devil or bear claw. Once you get lugs deeper than 3/4” it doesn’t matter about tread pattern, it’s going to make ruts quick.
