Got my game tickets, but not sure where to stay. Trying to avoid renting a car. Heard the team is staying at the Seaworld Renaissance - anyone know if they or anyone provides a shuttle to the game? Also, looking for a tailgate to join for game day if there's any LSU sponsored or pay to join setups.

There is a VIP tailgate tent put on by the stadium.
Pregame Hospitality Tent
Presented by Band Aid so you know it's gonna be off the hook!

A group of us are getting together at Tibbys Restaurant in Winter Park Saturday night. Dueling pianos from 7 to 10 and a Louisiana DJ playing a variety of music, including some zydeco, from 10 to midnight. No cover charge. Event bride has a place to RSvP for it. All Tiger fans are welcome. I have a separate thread on here about it.

Disney for two days. Staying at the Contemporary. We are with a group of 9 so we ponied up for the VIP tour.

My last experience with LSU for the 2005 Capital one bowl was awesome. All the parks were full of fans. We watched the LSU band march through magic kingdom.

You might want to start a GoFundMe for your concessions so you can eat something at the game.

Tell Tibby he should do a jello shot challenge. For you know, charity and stuff.

I live in Tampa but spend a lot of time in Orlando. Not renting a car is not a bad idea, particularly on game day. Parking situation sucks at Camping World Stadium. Best bet for game day is to do exactly what you’re doing here- find someone hosting a tailgate to link up with, and take an Uber or taxi to link up. The area around the stadium is a little shady but there are a number of open lots where tailgating takes place, so you should be able to find something. Worst case Uber to the stadium and head north for a block or two and look for an LSU tent.
As far as Orlando goes, if you’re into the Disney/Universal/sea world type of thing, pick one and go with it- staying on site at Disney or Universal will work without a car, plenty of transpo options. If heat, long lines, and $20 burgers isn’t your thing, find a resort (plenty in the area) with a pool and amenities, and just make it a laid back getaway…..

I've heard downtown Orlando is sketchy.
