These Trump indictments won’t stop until Kevin McCarthy steps up.

With a rider in the appropriations bill in September defund DOJ prosecutions of presidential candidates until December 1, 2024. Also include an automatic block to state federal funds for any state and local government prosecutions of presidential candidates until December 1, 2024.
This is inclusive of Biden and all presidential candidates.
McCarthy needs to step up. The people opining for normalcy, guess what? These prosecutions are not normal.

dude. if he isn't going to impeach his cabinet level positions, he isn't going to impeach the president. He isn't going to do shite. He shouldn't be speaker, but we live in a feckless clown world and until we realize the republican party isn't on our side, we will continue to be shoveled shite. We can make this stop and the only way forward is revolution. That's why I am voting for Vivek because he's the only candidate that is promising that end.

I know McCarthy is a typical do nothing Republican. Regardless, he has the power to stop this. It doesn’t mean I expect him to but I wouldn’t mind being pleasantly surprised.

Congress can use its constitutional duty of appropriations as it see fit for this republic, period full stop.
The prosecutions can continue. They just won’t get funded by me and your tax dollars for a brief period to avoid election interference of a federal elections.

Appropriations bills still have to pass both houses of Congress and be signed by the president, correct?
You can put the language in the House bill, but it is a poison pill/dead in the water when it gets to the Senate.
Now if you can hold the line and shut down the fedgov over it for a while that'd be great.
Coercing states via federal funding has been done before (highway funds tied to legal drinking age or BAC levels), but this would set a new precedent. Next Dem controlled Congress could vote to withhold funding from states with "heartbeat" abortion laws or constitutional carry gun laws.

It would be nice and restore some faith in our federal government to see the right match the left blow for blow. We watch Republicans launch committees and investigations but take no action. The actions by Biden's administration have been so extreme and corrupt that he has ripped the soul from America. America deserves to be protected from these Marxist.
